Music - To keep you calm and stress-free

When people ask me, how to stay calm in an extremely tense and lonely situation. I asked them, wanna interested in listening to my playlist. Well, I love listening to music because MUSIC takes me to some other world far away from the world's stresses… No tension, just ease of mind and relaxation… music has the power to flip your mood. It can make you believe and sense the meaning of your existence in a single moment. There are a lot of songs that we all listen to in our daily life but there are few songs that touched our hearts. Sometimes those songs also make us cry too. I'm sure you have also felt the same. I’m going to start with this line from ‘meri pyaari bindo’-1A “kuch gaane apki zindagi se yoon hi judh jaate hain, unki dhun mein lipte hote hai chote badhe kisse, kayi saari yaadein".

That’s how this time I come up with the idea to write a Music Blog for my two evergreen songs whose lyrics make a lot of sense.

1. Song - MOH MOH KE DHAAGE (2015)
Movie - Dum Laga Ke Haisha
Lyrics By – Varun Grover
Vocals – Papon and Monali Thakur

Life and human emotions are very unpredictable, things that seem normal to you can appear in a different sense.  Same goes with songs, you've heard them a million times and suddenly make a whole new sense to you. "Moh Moh Ke Dhaage" by Papon and Monali, is that song for me.  From the whole song, my favorite line is “Tu hoga zara pagal, tune mujhko hai chuna.” When someone chooses you with all your flaws and imperfections and you don’t believe that, how can they choose you? Prem and Sandhya, a couple from the 90s two misfits, brought together by destiny (and their parents), who somehow find glimpses of each other, and realize that they are together. People who have been told they are “different” their whole life and when they meet, realize that they have been the same kind of different all along. This song is all about simple love between two common people.

Tu din sa hai, main raat, aa na dono, mil jaayein shaamo ki tarah” this line describes that we both are so different but love for each other is sufficient. "Ke aisa beparwah mann pehle toh na tha, chitthiyon ko jaise mil gaya, jaise ek naya sa pata" love is a heavy word more than shapes or sizes.  It’s more than proposals or dates. It’s about holding hands and supporting each other’s crazy dreams. About Maggi at 2:00 AM and the weird funny face one makes when the other is crying. Love is not that difficult. Love is the most beautiful feeling in the world when you get your perfect better half at the right time.

2. Song – KAHIN TO HOGI WOH (2008)
Movie - Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na
Lyrics By – Abbas Tyrewala
Vocals – Rashid Ali and Vasundhara Das
Music Composer – A.R. Rahman

Rahman sir, your composition and Rashid sir, how beautifully you compose this song to the girl, who didn’t feel the same for you. “Kahin toh... kahin toh, hogi woh, duniya jahan tu mere saath hai”.  The perfect line to grab all my attention. You put your feeling into words so perfectly, to tell her that there has to be someplace in this world where she can be with you. You wanted her to know that if not now, then sometimes in the later life you could be together, where it would be only you and her with only love in the air. You wanted to create a new world for her. A world was full of love. As the song continues and moves smoothly through all the feelings in your heart, instantly I can feel the same chilling and goosebumps when you said, “Jaane naa kahan woh duniya hai,  jaane naa woh hai bhi ya nahi. Jahan meri zindagi mujhse, itni khafa nahi.” And when you said this, I felt you. You were fearsomely scared to not know the time; the time when she will be yours forever. Scared of being sure if the book of your destiny had her name on it.

And Rashid's good thing is, she was in love with you too! She said “Mein kho gayi hu, jaane kiski baahon mein” she was with someone else but confused if that was the right place, or she didn’t feel wanted there, she didn’t feel the spark there and maybe she didn’t feel at home in his arms and that was an indication that she was in love with you. But Rashid don’t you worry. Love won’t be mean to you. As it is said, “where there is great love, there are always miracles.” Anyone can relate to your love for her because there is always someone special in our life and the problem with us is that we think we are not for each other or our destiny is different but still we love them with all our hearts.

+ MUSIC = 😊

Now that you know what makes me feel light and what I like to listen, comment on your views and please share us your song and artist, help make your work done.

90s Nostalgia

Let's go down to a harmonious nostalgic lane. Nowadays some of the shows from back then are coming back like Ramayan, Mahabharat, shaktiman, etc. So, I thought, why not let's go back into childhood memories. I have selected some of the iconic shows from the '90s.

1. Aahat was the horror series that aired in 1995. This show has 6 seasons. Most of the episodes have different star casts. The show is usually very scary and does not start with anything funny. It increases the excitement but gives us moral value in the form of horror. The show focused on supernatural and paranormal activities, undead persons and possessed objects.

2. The first and fondest memory of our childhood days is the show Shaktimaan. It used to air on the DD1 TV channel. It started in 1997 and ended in 2005. It had the iconic character named as "Gangadhar", on which several memes are made like Gangadhar hi Shaktimaan hai. Shaktimaan was the superhero of '90s kids. He attained his powers from meditation and five elements of nature: Space, Earth, Air, Fire, Water. And there was a lover of Shaktimaan too, the reporter named Geeta Vishwas. As every story has a villain this one had too. His name was Tamraj Kilvish, his iconic dialogue was "Andhera kayam rahe". I think he was from some bat species because he had similar characteristics as of them. He looks as amusing as bats, he wants andhera everywhere as he wants to hunts in the night like bats.

3. The third show is Shrimaan Shrimati. It's a '90's sitcom. It aired on Doordarshan from 1994-99. It was based on the typical plot line i.e. "Love the neighbor's wife". The two couples of this show are Keshav Kulkarni (Jatin Kanikia), Kokila (Reema Lagoo) and Prema Shalini (Archana Puran Singh) and Dilruba (Rakesh Bedi). Keshav is attracted to Prema's glamorous looks and lifestyle who plays the roles of an actress in the show, while Dilruba is attracted to Kokila who is a smart classic housewife. Both of them tries to find every possible opportunity to flirt with each other's wives, but every time their efforts are futile. There is a kid known as Chintu, who is another level of bad luck for the two lead males. Nowadays a similar show is also aired known as "Bhabhi ji ghar par hai".

4. Yes Boss, it's a sitcom that used to air on SAB TV. It aired from 1999-2009. It was based on employee and boss relationships. A couple of this show Meera(Kavita Kapoor) and Mohan Srivastava(Rakesh Bedi) who worked in the same office. This couple somehow didn't reveal that they are married and their boss Vinod Verma(Aashif Sheikh) never misses a chance to flirt with Meera. Mohan keeps protecting his wife from his creepy boss and the boss(Vinod) thinks Meera is married to an old man named Bunty Ji, who is Mohan himself disguised.

5. Last but not the least show which I chose is Khana Khazana. Due to the obvious name, it is a cookery show. It was hosted by an Indian celebrity chef, Sanjeev Kapoor. This was one show whose most of the episodes were watched by my whole family but, we use to eat...samajhdaar ko ishara kaafi hai.

Open letter to some amazing character from a Bollywood fan

Hello people, I was thinking that If I ever got a chance to write something, I would definitely go and try something unique and different which comes directly from my heart, something on which I can write like limitless. So, here’s my first article. Hope! you would feel the same after reading this from beginning to end and encourage me to write more.

Movies, TV Series and Films which are anyways becoming a part of everyone's life. Thanks to the digital era, to help me share my thoughts on some famous celebs for their real acting.

Here are some amazing characters and open letters to their uniqueness and performing the character effortlessly.

1. DEEPAK (Massan):

Dear Mr. Vicky Kaushal,

In that Ghats of Varanasi, when you screamed “sala ye dukh kaahe khatam nhi hota”, while all of Ganga walked away slowly with whatever remained of shalu, I felt like letting out a scream myself. You see, when it was my turn to let Ganga have my shalu, I turned mute. But, you were brave enough to accept the loss and to let it out into the world to find a home. The meaning of "massan" is crematorium. And they named it right. Because with people, our love also burns on the pyre. It's a funeral for everything we’ve ever lost. And only some of us are brave enough to let that last token of their love go. When you threw that ring into the river, my heart came into my mouth. Even if you jumped in to find it again which you did found. And I understand, if you hadn’t, Devi’s “modesty” would’ve been the next thing to burn while the society poured kerosene on it. Your biggest sacrifice saved someone’s existence that day. Here, I’m letting you know in case she hasn’t told you already. Like other Bollywood heroes, you didn’t scream or sing for your dread lover’s body while it was in front of you. You mourned, like the rest of us. You took a hammer to your heart and kept breaking until there was nothing left. You didn’t lose track of your life. Deepak there’ll be a day when another train will go by and you’ll again hear your “dill Ki awaz”.

2. JENNIFER (Kal ho na ho):

Dear Mrs. Jaya Bachan,

You are the real hero of your family. You instantly came off as a kind and self-sufficient mother who was raising three beautiful kids alone and was quite amazing at it. Those inspiring widows who refused to let their ill-fate and loneliness make them bitter. Just like them, you too defined the true strength of womanhood to me. It’s always shattering to lose your partner but how do you heal when your partner decides to take his own life? You answered this for me jenny. You filled yourself with love- just pure love. I always wondered why you put up with a horrible mother in law who constantly put you and your daughter down, but I see it today. You put up with her because you loved her. You had made your husband’s family your own. You installed the cultural values of both our husband and your own faith in your children. You proved a woman doesn’t have to carry a child inside her to be her mother. You forgave your husband. You forgave the other woman. You did not let your heartbreak reduce an ounce of all the love in your heart. You shaped every bit of the woman that I am turning out to be. I know despite everything; your husband was a good man. You know how? Because God give him you.

3. BUNNY (YJHD):

Dear Mr. Ranbir Kapoor,

I heard that you left your job in Paris, was it so easy for you? At the beginning of the Manali trip, we saw the bunny who flirted with every other girl. A guy who goes on a vacation with his best friends. But the letter, did we all know there was something more to it. This trip was not just a vacation. You had dreams, you wanted to travel to every corner of the world! “Mai udna chata hu, mai daudna chahta hu… bas rukna nahi chahta”. The dilemma to choose between your dreams and love perfectly portrayed in the song “kabira”. For a moment we all thought that you left. But again, we were wrong you came back to prove that “home is where the heart belongs to” the guilt in your eyes of having not met your father for one last time sends across a message: always tell how much you love them before it’s too late! Also thank you for letting us know that thodi flirting karna sehat ke liye acha hota hai, like yoga!

Avengers: Infinity War Review (Non Spoilers)

Avengers: Infinity War movie rating

IMDb - 9.2/10
Rotten Tomatoes - 86%

Avengers Infinity War is finally here and like an eager little fanboy looking out of the window for papa to come homeboy who I have feelings I know it's a little early and maybe you have not seen it yet, but don't worry I'm not gonna spoil anything this is my non-spoiler review of the movie.

Really just some deeper thoughts to consider as you head into the movie or if you have seen it a hot take to not along- or shake away okay.

So how was the Avengers infinity war? Well, answer to that question you have to consider what kind of movie this is,  now it's hard to judge infinity war as a movie because emotionally speaking this is more of an event than a movie a crossover finale paying off a decade of interweaving storylines across multiple previous movies. Now a movie traditionally has three act introduced the hero challenged a hero or villain and then show what the hero does to overcome those challenges. This is pretty much the formulae that we've seen Marvel studios do in every one of its past adventure taking characters and storylines from comic books and fitting them into a cinematic format a redemption tale team up, caper spy,  thriller, buddy comedy, political drama and break up story but Infinity war doesn't do that instead it plays like a true comic book crossover issue designed to pay off essential back issues with interesting conflict and teamwork and surprising pairings spectacle. The thrill of infinity war first major strength it is all third act it's a finale to the finale to the movie that we have been watching for 10 years now it's doesn't answer all the questions.

The best thing about the movie is Thanos. Thanos himself who's the second big strength. His goal of collecting six infinity stones and wiping out half the universe is the mission that we are most curious to see accomplished even if its break our hearts to see that happen that's how you know you have a great villain by the way like kill monger in black panther a part of us kind of wants to see the evil plan succeed mostly because we care so much about all these characters that we want to see how they respond  and that emotional connection is the third big strength of Infinity wars.
