Jawa bikes Price, Specification, Features & Other Details

Jawa was found in Prague. The Classical Jawa Motorcycle brand came to India in November  2018. Classic Legends, a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra, has introduced three new Jawa bikes – Jawa 300 (Classic), Jawa 42 and Jawa Perak (a factory-custom Bobber). Among three bikes the Jawa 42 is the most affordable offering priced at Rs 1.55 lakh, the 2019 Jawa 300 and the Perak are priced at Rs 1.62 lakh and Rs 1.89 lakh respectively. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. The Jawa Perak will go on sale soon.

Fit and finish are excellent. The company says that 2019 Jawa 300 has been “built with tech, loaded with class”, and is a tribute to the first-ever Jawa motorcycle. Interestingly, the classical design of this retro-styled Classic bike is dazzling by the 1970s 2-stroke bikes with modern engineering components and parts. Now it has better-built quality, lower centre of gravity and a more powerful engine than the previous Jawa bikes. Powering the Jawa 300 Classic is a 293cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine pushing out 27bhp and 28Nm. The bike’s powertrain meets the BSVI emission norms as well.

2019 JAWA 300 PRICE IN INDIA

It's a looker bike for sure. Jawa’s new classical motorcycle compete against the Royal Enfield 350 range. Production of the Jawa bikes takes place at Mahindra’s Pithampur based facility in Madhya Pradesh. In capturing some market share in this segment, Mahindra has priced the bike quite competitively. The all-new 2019 Jawa 300 is being offered at Rs 1.64 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

2019 JAWA 300 SPECIFICATIONS

Engine293cc, single-cylinder,
liquid-cooled

Coming with such superb specification, the new retro-modern styled motorcycle from Jawa comes fitted with a 293cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine paired to a constant mesh 6-speed gearbox. This BS VI-ready, four-stroke motor returns a claimed power of 27bhp and a maximum torque of 28Nm. The same motor powers the Jawa 42 and Jawa Perak. Though, the latter one gets a bigger bore, displacing 332cc and delivers power worth 30bhp against 31Nm of torque.

2019 JAWA 300 MILEAGE & TOP SPEED

Mileage25-30kmpl
Top Speed120kmph
The more you ride, the more you begin to like this bike. It is likely to return fuel economy around 25kmpl in city and 30kmpl on the highways. It can attain a top speed of 135kmph – 140kmph.

2019 JAWA 300 COLOURS

As about colours Jawa coming up with, the 2019 Jawa Classic bike comes in a choice of three colour options – Grey, Marron and Black. On the other hand, the Jawa 42 is made available in six different shades – Galactic Green, Halley’ Teal, Nebula Blue, Starlight Blue Lumos and Comet Red.
