Today I
tell you the simple process to change address details in the mutual fund folio.
We are considering two cases one investor who has done with KYC complied folio
and the second investor who has not done with KYC complied folios.
Investor A, who wants Change of Address: KYC complied Folios/Investor
In this case of change of address for KYC complied folios, the applicant
shall be required to submit Details change form with the below-stated documents
to the designated intermediaries of the KYC registration agency.
1) Proof of new address: Voters Id Card/ Driving License/ Passport/
Ration Card/ Flat Maintenance bill/ Utility bills (only landline bill,
electricity bill (not more than 3 months old) or Bank statement/passbook).
2) Latest Photograph with cross signature
3) Proof of Identity: PAN card/ Aadhaar card (unique identification
number)/ Passport/ Voter ID card/ Driving License.
Investor B, who wants Change of Address: KYC not complied Folios/
Investor
In this case of change of address for KYC not met (not verified) folios,
the applicant shall be required to submit the below-stated documents along with
new KYC registration form.
1) Proof of identity: Only PAN card copy, If PAN is updated in the
folio. In the case where PAN is not updated, then all the identity proof stated
above.
2) Proof of new address: Voters Id Card/ Driving License/ Passport/ Ration
Card/ Flat Maintenance bill/ Utility bills (only landline bill, electricity
bill (not more than 3 months old) or Bank statement/passbook).
3) Latest Photograph with cross
signature
Important Point:
o
Photocopy
of all documents that are to submit by the investor should be self-attested
with the same signature.
o
In case,
Originals documents are not produced for verification; then each copy should be
attested by the government officials.
